The Virginia Department of Historic Resources site has great information in their Technological Disasters section. The site breaks down common examples of technological hazards and gives an overview of Virginia’s risk for Technological Disasters. The site is a very good read and provides helpful links for FEMA and VA Dept of Emergency Management. This site is a great starting point.
Agility Recovery is an organization that initially started as a disaster recovery and business continuity division of General Electric in 1989, helping to deliver temporary power and technology solutions to keep critical services running. They post a blog that touches on all things business continuity. The readings are short and to the point and I find the readings to be very beneficial.
